Performance profile is what you can expect which will save power by reductions in CPU clock speeds and lowering the brightness.
Improved Multitasking with low power consumption
Android already support good multitasking operations but it is in human nature we always crave for more than what we own. As a result of this it is expected that the multitasking will reach new heights with measures introduced for low power consumptions.
Advance experience for video chats
“Built in video chat” is what we can expect for better experience in video chatting. Apple and Blackberry are already providing solutions for the same and getting it in Android is definitely welcomed.
Multiple device and better social network support
Cross device SMS, integrated social networking etc. if incorporated will be a definite plus for users. It is expected that the new OS will be optimized to work even with devices with only 512 MB of RAM.
Better Battery Life
When you play games on smartphones; lot of streaming of data and videos over the networks eat up the battery. A definite enhancement for battery life is expected which will prevent your smartphone from draining its battery so quickly.
It can be our wishful thinking as nothing is officially revealed yet but it is expected that Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie will allow profile management; it will be possible to set a profile where at night fetching of data and synching operations will come to rest to save even more power for the time when required. It will be a definite improvement which will help you to get a good night sleep without any worries.
Better security and flexibility, better support to networks, revamped Android keyboard and smart and smoother experience are other things which we expect to come with the Key Lime pie. The list of devices on which Android 5.0 is expected to run include Nexus 7, Motorola X Phone, Samsung Galaxy note 3, Nexus 5, Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1/LTE, Samsung Galaxy Note 2/LTE, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0/Wi-Fi/LTE, HTC One, Sony Xperia Z. the real picture will be clear only after the release of Android 5.0.
